EXCITING RESEARCH NEWS!!

A recent study published in the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research is the first to show that correction of upper neck injuries is capable of reversing the progression of both MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS and PARKINSON’S disease. The research was conducted by Dr. Erin Elster.

“According to medical research, head and neck injuries have long been considered a contributing factor for the onset of both Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease,” said Dr. Elster. “But this is the first research to show that correction of those injuries can have a dramatic effect on improving and reversing Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease.

The initial diagnosis of all patients was made by a neurologist with the aid of an MRI. Follow up MRI studies of these patients 4 months, 1year and 2 years after beginning Chiropractic care showed 91% of the Multiple Sclerosis patients and 92% of the Parkinson’s patients had no new lesions and a reduction in intensity of the original lesions. These people also reported an improvement with quality of life and a reduction of their symptoms.

This research shows that any injuries to the neck are important to take care of early in life. Problems such as any trauma to the neck, whiplash, falls, etc. need to be dealt with properly. If a person is only concerned with the immediate pain and discomfort from the neck trauma and is not concerned with the proper internal function they may be more susceptible to having Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s later in life.

This research shows that people who leave subluxations in their neck regardless of whether they can feel the effects of them or not are potentially living with a dangerous time bomb of permanent neurological dysfunction that could become life threatening.
